Her Career History

Solene hasn’t just stayed in an office; she’s been working with cars and tools since 2011!

The Workshop Years (2011 – 2017)

For 6 years, she worked as a mechanic in a busy Sydney repair shop. She spent her days fixing broken engines and learning which cars are built the best. This gave her a “bird’s eye view” of which car parts are worth the most money.

The Vehicle Inspector (2017 – 2022)

She spent 5 years working as an inspector for a large salvage company. Her job was to travel around NSW and tell people what their damaged cars were worth. She became an expert at giving fair and fast quotes on the spot!

Chief Appraiser (2022 – Now)

Now she leads the buying team at NSW Auto Wrecker. She uses everything she has learned since 2011 to give people the fastest cash offers. She also writes easy guides to help people understand how car recycling works in Australia.
